I started my career in maintenance and reliability as a Naval Electronics Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces in 1994. Since then, I completed many professional development courses in leadership, predictive maintenance technologies and work management. I successfully completed a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification program and I graduated with Honors from Northwood University with a BBA majoring in Management in May 2009.

I have been a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) with the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professional (SMRP) since 2003. I have worked for Cargill Salt as a Maintenance Planner, a Business Unit Maintenance and Reliability Project Manager and have been with DTE Energy since November 2005 as a Work Management Specialist and Project Lead - Continous Improvment.

I am a Maximo SME and integration specialist specializig in process improvement using technology to support complex data and process issue.

I am married to Katie and together we are the proud parents of Gabrielle, Julianne and Claire.

I have been a part of robotics for 4 years now. I am the Director of Domestic Works for Clark and Co., and Social Media and E-commerce Consultant for Lola Bella Gifts. I am the head coach for our FLL team. Some of my hobbies are Cryptozology, forever on the hunt for the elusive Sasquach. Outdoor adventures and water-sports. I love to bake. As part of my career choice, I love learning new things and applying what I learn. I also love to use what I have learned to help educate others about the importance of inclusion and how to make our environment universally accessible. FIRST has given me the opportunity to explore programming, and engineering at an elementary level. As an extension of what I have learned from my experience coaching FLL, I will be coaching Code Ninja’s for our schools Science Olympiad team.
