| Kaitlyn Fuhrman | In her four years at Algonac High School, Kaitlyn has been involved in multiple extracurricular activities such as the Taft Road Jazz Society, National Honors Society, and the Algonac Robotics Team. She has played tenor saxophone in the Algonac Marching and Symphonic Bands, District 16 Honors Band, and multiple community bands throughout high school. She has also been a part of many volunteer projects in the community. Academically, she has challenged herself by being an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme candidate her junior and senior years and chose to write her Extended Essay on the treatment of morality in Dostoyevsky’s Crime and Punishment and Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray. She will finish her high school career with a 4.4 GPA and will attend Oakland University with a major in instrumental performance in saxophone. She is the daughter of Sandra and Francis Fuhrman of Clay Township. | |
| Tyler Fogg | During his four years at Algonac High School, Tyler has participated in varsity track, extreme team, and the new robotics team. Tyler was one of the head students for the design and build team for the Algonac robotics club and was one of the main drivers of the robot for the competitions. Other activities that he participated included National Honor Society and band. Some of his community service projects were helping with the blood drives at school, helping cut fabric for the Care Bag Movement and collecting bottles for the can and bottle drive. Tyler was a member of the full International Baccalaureate Diploma Program during his junior and senior years and finishes his four years at Algonac High School with a 4.02 GPA. Tyler will be attending Michigan Technological University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He is the son of Sarah and Curtis Mowinski of Algonac. | |
| Brandon Rogers | Brandon has participated in Varsity Soccer, Golf, and the Robotics Club. He was on the driving team while on the Robotics Club. Brandon finishes his high school career with a 4.02 GPA, and has received the Lamp of Learning Pin for Outstanding Academic Excellence. He challenged himself in classes such as IB Biology, IB Math, and AP Statistics. Brandon will attend Kettering University where he will major in Mechanical Engineering. He is the son of Steve and Vanessa Rogers of Clay Township. | |
| Alex Nedvidek | Alexander was a member of the National Honor Society, the Bowling Club and the Robotics Club. He was the head programmer for the Robotics club, which were State District Finalists. While on the Robotics club, he served as a mentor to the Algonac Middle School Robotics Team. Alexander was also involved in sports; Varsity Track and Field (Pole Vault leader) and Cross Country. He is a member of the full International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and will be finishing his high school career with a 4.00 GPA. His community services projects included the Care Bag Movement and helping with the Science Olympiad. Alexander plans to attend Michigan Tech, where he will study Computer Engineering. He is the son of Colleen and Rich Glombowski of Clay Township. | |
| Alina DeVoogd | Alina is a 3rd student with a double major in political science and Spanish and a minor in biology. I want to go to grad school to work in environmental research! I am involved in the honors program, and Roberts Fellows both of which are Programs of Distinction. I studied abroad in Peru during the past summer! I am involved in Alternative Breaks and have travelled to other states three times for week-long community service projects. And I currently work at a nonprofit in Saginaw focused on youth literacy. | |
