1st Annual Garage Sale Fundraiser
Team, you may have seen postings already over social media. The yard trail sale is schedule on 8/12-8/14 and this will be a perfect opportunity to try this out. We have a perfect front yard selected to host the sale. It is right on m-29 and Virginia and there should be plenty of space.
We discussed this and we will like to make this to be one of our main annual fundraiser. It will be hard work but if the team work together, we can make this happen and make this a successful event.
Timing is a little short for this year, but for upcoming year, it is right before season starts and will not interfere with our build.
Few things to consider:
- We will have a tent with robots, trophies and artifact displayed.
- We will have a tent with grill going selling hot dogs, water, pop…. If you can donate anything that would add to our profit as we do not have to buy it.
- We need things to sell! Some donations are already stacked in my garage and we need as much stuff as we can put in the front yard. Anything we sell will go in our club general fund and will be use to buy tools, parts and other miscellaneous expense throughout the seasons. So if you have things that you want to donate, you can bring it on 8/11 in the evening as we will set up that night or contact coach Seb to arrange for pickup.
- Consider talking to your neighbors, friend and family and promote our team. You will be surprise on how people would like to get rid of some stuff!
We need everyone that can help for this sale. Please click here and use this sign up genius to sign up for some time. We will need extra people on Thursday night to setup and Sunday afternoon to clean up.

First Alumni Mentor!
Congrats to Kaitlyn Fuhrman for being our first Alumni to return to our team as a mentor.
Kaitlyn was one of the original team members that helped started this club.

I am also looking for webmaster that would like to learn how to manage a web page like this. Ideally, we should have 3-4 people in the team that can edit the pages as needed. It is very easy and fun to do!!!!
