Great news! our recruiting effort is working well. We now have a total of 36 37 students on the Algonac Robotics roster. breakdown is as follow:
910 FLL Students- 13 FTC Students
- 9 FRC Students
- 4 FRC Alumni
The little library are finished. Thanks to all students and coaches that helped paint and put roof on them. Mrs Tricomo from Algonquin did the final painting and it looked amazing. She even put a robotics twist to the Dr Seuss Cat in the Hat theme library and it is very cool. We will do an unveil in the Algonac Boardwalk park on Thursday June 16th around 630pm. The Algonac Robotics Club has been invited to participated in the Pickerel Tournament Parade on Sunday July 3rd at 2pm. If we have enough students that would like to do it, we can certainly participate and have a float. Please RSVP by 6/11/2016. If we have enough participation, i will submit the form and pay the entry fee. Use this signup to RSVP.
Our end of the year celebration will be on 6/24/2016, 630pm to 930pm at Dave and Busters on Hall rd. Cost will be $20 per person except for our seniors. This will include appetizers, $10 power card play and unlimited video games until 11pm. We need a minimum of 15 person to attend to make this work. Please use this sign up to RSVP no later than 6/9/16 at midnight. Make sure you specify how many family and friends you will have with you.
The Blue Water Area Robotics Alliance (BWARA) will be participating in the International Rotary Parade on July 13th at around 630pm. BWARA will be part of the parade and asked us to participate with Betsy! If you are interested in participating, use this sign up to RSVP no later than 6/17/16.
